Now John Kelly slams Trump

Trump is now calling Nikki Haley a birdbrain. Some amount of hypocrisy is required in politics. I get it. But is it more likely that all of these people who Trump hired, appointed, or surrounded himself with were stupid or corrupt or more likely that he's the problem and couldn't intimidate these people?

 

Say what you will about Biden no one who works with him calls him out on stories like these. Even the made up narrative on mental acuity doesn’t come from people who work with him it comes from enemies. For Trump, all the accusations come from his inner circle. Dude is scum.

i don’t understand how seemingly intelligent people just discount and ignore the story after story after story after story of people who Trump appointed - high integrity people with unblemished records — almost all of whom give the same story about what a TERRIBLE person AND leader Trump is in fact. They won’t listen, or they excuse it away, and if it was anyone other than Trump they would be mortified. But somehow, inexplicably, they just refuse to believe, or accept, what a terrible man he truly is.

 

While I will totally agree that trump is a scum, we will have to agree to disagree on Biden’s mental state.

One problem I have with Kelly and Esper and a bunch of others is that they chose to be associated with him. It’s not like they didn’t know what kind of person he was and he had been on record dissing Vietnam vets as losers (to include McCain).

Their desire for power was too great to avoid the train wreck.

I’m not sure Trump will be able to appoint any capable people if he’s elected. If you are in his circle, you have to be a yes man or your career is over. There’s really no reason for conservatives to hate Pence or many others that were in Trump’s administration. Yet so many do.
