Sadly, a concerning red flag for me personally. He's handled everything with class and composure up until now. I hope he isn't hanging his hat on the Tennessee game. I say this as someone who has been critical of his detractors. That's a very defensive response.

 

His demeanor in these pressers has dramatically changed the last 2 weeks, imho. Pressure does that. I would imagine there’s a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes.

 

In case anyone is confused, you lose as a result of not playing winning football.

I've never heard it put that way before. It finally makes sense.

 

Is this good or bad?

 

I was also concerned I believe after McKneese St that only 50% of teams win each week, winning isn't easy. I like Napier and don't want to see him leave, but this comment felt like it was attempting to lower winning expectations.

 

We’ve seen it before. Many times.

If he doesn't like to be annoyed why doesn't he do something about it. Must not be annoyed that much. The nervous tick is he's pissed about reporters questioning his actions and demeanor. Ego.

Sorry Billy, but you knew this coming in. UF is not a place to preach patience. Patience is afforded when you show progress, not when we look like a clown show.

 

If we want the man to snap out of his “trust the process” tunnel vision this is a good thing. It gives him the opportunity to make the necessary changes in time to right the ship.
