No, I do not. It reminds me of the other thread where I asked if white people are covert racists who advocate for CRT because of the white benefits of advocating for CRT. The question or the assumption behind the question was called pernicious by one poster because there are other possible motives that could explain why someone would advocate for CRT. The same thing is going on here. The assumption of the OP is pernicious.
Racism accusations are not jokes these days. One accusation of racism can cost you your career and your reputation, which is why CRT is evil since it assumes racism until proven otherwise.
You honestly think that MTG is worried about being called racist and is worried about her reputation? Of all the things that could cost her career - this may be it?
I never said that, but most people care about their reputation one way or the other, especially if it affects their livelihood. In her case it does not affect her livelihood. Slander is still wrong regardless of whether the person cares or not.
Accusing someone of something you are unsure about is slander. MTG might simply think people who are lousy at their jobs shouldn't get paid regardless of their skin color. I think Austin should get paid if he is trying. There are lots of people who get paid for average/below average work. And we are all allowed to have an opinion on Austin's job performance much like we are all allowed to have an opinion on Napier's job performance.
