Napier's halftime speech: "We gotta do better on offense, right?" "We gotta do better on defense, right?" "We gotta do better on special teams, right?" "This is all correctible, right? We just need to trust in the system, right?"
Updates to the transcript just came in: "We gotta do better relative to offense, right?" "We gotta do better relative to defense, right?" "We gotta do better relative to special teams, right?" "This is all correctible, if that makes sense, right? We just need to trust in the process, right?"
So they weren’t ready to play? How about we bring back Bloody Tuesdays until they decide to get ready?
Someone needs to research how many times we have won the toss last year and this year. It is uncanny. We almost never get the ball in the stsrt of the second half
Evidently not much for us to be on the verge of another losing season. Furthermore, how has having 2 OL coaches benefited us? BN was given everything he asked for and this is the result. Incredible ineptitude.
Coach speak. It always comes down to execution according to Napier. Truth is the team is poorly coached and never really seem prepared. Scared money don't make money but neither do bad investments. Go Gators.
“Our trademark will be our physicality. We'll be in great condition. We'll be known for how hard we play. We'll be disciplined. And we will eliminate careless play -- turnovers, penalties, mental errors. We're going to be sound and we're going to attack in all three phases," Napier said on Dec. 5, 2021. After 18 games is any of the above remotely accomplished? Are we even a third of the way to accomplishing any of this? Because Billy is a third of the way through a 4-year hypothetical tenure at UF.
Today and tomorrow will be far uglier than yesterday. We are about to see what character and culture are.
I don’t think we lose to Vandy. But if it were to happen, Billy will lose the team and the fanbase. There is simply no way to keep anyone engaged at that point. The Vandy loss last year tanked the season.
We could only win 1 - Vandy. South Carolina, LSU and Missouri are all on the road and we just don't show up for away games under Napier. I'm guessing we go 2-5 and finish 5-7 again.
