Napier's hand has to be forced. A personal foul on 4th and long, deep in their end zone when UK is punting is beyond comprehension. The game was over at that point. Special Teams is the worst I've ever seen and an OC has to be hired. Administration imo has to force these changes at season's end. 3 straight losses vs Kentucky is unacceptable. Napier's Florida teams on the road are attrocious. In fact, he looks to be over-matched in too many games, especially on the road. I really hope he brings in this recruiting class as it is and loses no one. Napier's coaching has to improve by next year. Otherwise, the seat will get hot real fast. What's it going to take for Napier to make the neccessary changes. It makes you worry a lot that he fails to see it. Also, the lack of discipline and poor fundamentals continue to plague Napier and its fair to wonder regardless of how good the recruiting class is if this can improve. Without a ST coordinator and OC, I can't see it.
Looking at the rest of the season, we have to beat Vandy (who won’t have Davis unless he transfers back this week) and Arkansas isn’t that good this year. Two home games. Georgia and LSU are losses. (So much for going into that game 6-1.) So, that gets us to 5-4. South Carolina and Missouri on the road, FSU to close the season at home. As Rattler goes, so does South Carolina. And, you KNOW they’re going to win special teams. Missouri in cold weather becomes vital game. FSU has probably their best team since their last national championship. I’m waiting to see if they are undefeated or have a loss or two. Not looking good for 7-5 or 6-6 this year.
the top 3 recruiting class goes bye bye if the Gators finish with a whimper and the outlook for next season goes with it. There are a few strong commits that will stick but.....Look, I'm not calling for a change, but the idea that BN's recruits will remain steadfast regardless if the Gator season becomes a disaster is just wrong......kids are kids, they want to play for a winner.
Not sure how we should have won, Tommy. We were underdogs on the road. Kentucky soundly beat us on both sides of the ball. And while the refs seemed to work against us, it was hardly a Swindle At The Swamp situation, where the refs made six horrible game-changing calls, and we still barely lost the game. Kentucky was the better team on the field.
Use Callahan for the rest of the season. If it works great, if not, go shopping at the end of the season, but thinking "if we keep pounding the rock up the middle, its going to magically solve everything" is going to be his undoing. I want CBN to succeed. Improvise, adapt and overcome. Just make the changes, Coach!

I came into this season with a get young talented guy’s experience to compete next year. Today makes me realize I’m gonna need more alcohol.
All the avid fans I talk to see the same thing I see. Most have been following Florida football for 30-40 years and are used to seeing us play at a much higher level and compete for division and conference championships. Realizing this is a rebuilding phase for a new coach I still expected better progress than what I've seen since the beginning of last year. He's 9-9 now overall and 4-7 in conference play. I'm struggling to find positives except that recruiting for future classes looks great.
