Defense couldn’t stop anything and you blame the offense?

I guess it’s a wait and see approach with Napier. On one hand, Mike Norvell looked like a bust in his first couple of seasons but looks like the right hire for FSU now. Napier could turn out to be the right hire, or he could be another wrong hire in a decade and a half of wrong hires. I guess time will tell.

Time to start questioning CBN’s ability to coach at this level. We are seeing the same things week in and week out.
    Poor play calling and schemes.

    Horrible ST play.

Lack of offensive urgency or identity really.

    No discipline and untimely penalties

Folks. We are a poorly coached football team. Or a team that cannot execute. Or both.

The next time these guys make 2nd half adjustments will be the first time.

So damn conservative, so devoted to running the clock.

Doesn't even touch on how horrible the D was, but 14 points doesn't win many games.

On a positive note, we can still sell playing time on the recruiting trail.

Early line on the vandy game? The loser will be the worst team in the sec.

    1) The defense did not come ready to play. They got manhandled all game and did little to change the flow of the game.

    2) They have got to figure out how to get the run game going. Mertz is a sitting duck behind the line without a strong run game to balance.

    3) I fully expect an OC hire to be a part of the talks for year 3.

Gonna be a rough week for BN. Pitchforks will be out.

I honestly don’t care about the loss. I figured this team would suck again this year. A couple improvement here or there.

However, that was fugly. He should be embarrassed by that showing.

Still think talk of firing is way too premature.

He needs to shake up the staff and look in the mirror with his OFFENSIVE approach to Offense.

I thought play calling was a bit predictable and the refs killed us.

More importantly than any of that, failed to stop the run. Don't care what you do on offense, not going to win giving up rushing like that. Secondarily, ST still suck horribly.

    Bad o line play...again
2 o line coaches, one being the OC for context
Offense has zero feel and pulse
Defense was pushed around and embarrassed
    Secondary was average, I guess
    Tackling was atrocious,
    Physicality was non existent
Defense gets no pressure on the qb

We can all talk till we turn blue in the face about woeful play calling or the defense today, but what has concerned me from the very beginning is how this team comes out for games. I just don't ever see the kind of intensity in the Gators....like I saw with Kentucky today.....I saw a video from the Tennessee game where a former player pegged it on the sideline in the 1st half.....He even risked getting thrown off the sideline and out of the locker room, trying to get the gators emotionally up. He indicated the staff informed him they were concerned players would forget their assignments if they got too emotionally charged.....I found it all concerning if that's the mindset with this staff?

D gave up 9 yards per carry. Kentucky ran the ball 36 times. End of story.
