I don’t trust the offense at all on the road , or Napier really. Only one road win and that was against a really bad team last year. that being said this defense is legit. Unfortunately their one vulnerability so far has been the big play and Kentucky is the kind of boom or bust offense that can take advantage of that. Lastly, I don’t trust special teams to win the field position battle. given all that I’m gonna say offense poops it’s pants, defense plays heroic, special teams screws up too much, and Kentucky once again escapes with a lucky victory over Uf something like 17-15 hope I’m wrong.

Given recent history, I think this is a well-measured take. I believe in Billy, but I'm not sure if we are on the upward trajectory quite yet. Last game looked like a setback after the high of beating Tennessee.
What an amazing memory to have. Congratulations. Was at CJ's during the game and that place went utterly bonkers.
Last year we lose 4 real away games 136-138 plus uga 20-41 and uk 16-26, with a hot mess of a defense. We are at least plus 7-10 points better on defense this year and the offense has appeared capable with all bodies available. Team with fewest mistakes wins UF is capable of this and the game is middle of the day. Gators 27 yUK 17
Gator Dave has me drinking the kool-aid … Gators 24 KY 17 Only thing: which offense shows up, first half Tenn or the offense that scored one touchdown vs Charlotte ?
If we don't beat ourselves with dumb penalties and/or turnovers, 28-13 Gators. Play like we did against Utah and we'll see Utah like results. Kentucky hasn't played anyone so far, and we have two games against ranked opponents. If this was a November game like it used to be, then I might lean more towards a one possession game either way.
I also remember Anthony Richardson in his own head last year and threw like 8 pick 6’s. Mertz is coming into his own, defense is starting to feel it. O line plays like first half at Tennessee and Billy gets out of his own way. Smack knocks down anything under 50 and ballsack Billy finally stamps a legit road win.
