PAC making a case for top conference. RPI still has SEC on top, but they have four top ten teams to SEC one. Six top 25 teams to SEC seven. Both the Cats and Tigers are breathing down our neck now. We better beat the Cat curse or the rest will come hard. Ranking our toughest SEC road games: 1) Poodles 2) Corndogs 3) Mizzou 4) Kentucky 5) South Carolina

I'd probably just put Kentucky over Missouri and agree with all the rest. It's a toss-up though, IMO.
If you re-watch that entire Mizzou/Memphis game you'll see a team that doesn't quit. Missouri has the most returning defensive line talent of any SEC team here in 2023. Kentucky has 2 good RB's, but Devin Leary isn't the warrior talent Brady Cook is. Vandy came back on Kentucky and made it a game until the very last quarter. You can tell from the new polls that both the writers and coaches agree with me.
Still don't understand how Tennessee is still ranked ahead of us. They've played zero ranked teams and we dominated them. Meanwhile we've played 2 ranked teams in the top 15 and our only loss is to a top 10 undefeated Utah team who is one of the top overall rated defensive teams in the country.
A big part of that is that the SEC has a pretty middling roster of QBs this year. PAC 10 seems better in that regard.
I’m sure oregano remembers that shellacking they got from Georgia last year. Do you think beating Colorado has them believing? They might want the puppies, they look suspect. I’ll still go with the sec as being too big, strong, and fast.
My thought exactly, I was sure we would drop out of the top 25 and I wish we would have. Our young team responds better to being undervalued than overvalued. We saw it last year as well, as soon as the pollsters showed them some love, they underwhelmed us!
There were like 6 or 7 games this past weekend that involved 2 ranked teams... we didn't really move up, other just fell back...
Need to move on from Charlotte. I kinda like their coach, Biff. It wasn't pretty but it's not a beauty contest. Like Shane Matthew's says, the most important aspect is winning the game. I also believe the 3 first half OL suspensions did not help continuity for the offense. Anyway, UF really needs to show they can win on the road against a quality opponent. This Saturday provides that opportunity.
