At this time, I do not feel comfortable giving out any details. Let me simply say that I was glad that we did not secure a contract from him.
I haven't got an issue with Deion, outside of his Nollie roots. Think the guy is a good dude for the most part. The media coverage has been over the top though.
He is trying to stand out to bring attention to the brand. His and the program. I'm fine with it...if it works. Time will tell.
....and now laughing (at your foolishness) = I'm traumatized. I'm just fine 96. You should check yourself.
It starts at 'nole' (of course there are exceptions...), then the shows-his-ass constantly....including as coach... Now the only part I take exception to, is 'hate'. That's a bit strong. IOW, not joining the worship services at the church of prime, =/= hate. Not necessarily anyway. (I mean, I was pulling for the guy to keep his toes, and relieved when he did...).
You might not see it but I do. To me, it’s the self adulation. He’s like a Hulk Hogan of football. I’ve never liked any of the guys that are about themselves and are loudmouths. Mohammed Ali yes, the rest no. I didn’t like Terrel Owens or a first Randy Moss either . Moss turned out better to me, he grew on me. People don’t like him because his personality is like findernails on a chalkboard and he or others may think it’s a different reason but they are way off base. He’s just irritating and I likable to many.
Football may be exploitive I guess but I don’t think the coaches are in a position to really control that. Tgat would be the schools or owners and to some degree us fans who pay for it all. I’ve never concerned myself with that. Players couldn’t get paid above board but college ball still wasn’t much different than minor league baseball for most. College kids probably made out better than most pros who didn’t make it but I’ve never concerned myself with that. It’s sports and we like some and don’t like others Dion is one of those tgat you either like or don’t like. Hate is not really the word for me. I don’t really hate anyone in sports but he is one of the most irritating people on earth. He thinks it’s his confidence? It’s his arrogance. People couldn’t stand Spurriers arrogance either. Why do you think tat was?
I’ve refused to work for three different people in almost 40 years and I’m lucky it’s obvious they were assholes and they couldn’t claim some ridiculousness. One guys wife told him he was an asshole.
Warrick Dunn and Derrick Brooks are the only noles I can sai I like. Dunn has done so many good things for people he’s just admirable and Brooks went to my hs along with Roy Jones. Derrick and Roy are just good people. If you every see either, don’t be scared to say hi. Super nice guys that give back.
1 nole, I was a cowboy fan since I was a kid and didn’t want him on the team. I wanted him to go back to San Fran and beat him. Dion won at cowboys and niners though 2 is it for me, loudmouth and self adulation. He’s like a WWE idiot. He’s as dumb as wrestlers 3 I guess I’d rather have a coach that acted more professional no doubt. If I owned a team, damn right, at Gator walk, everybody in suits looking like business. I guess whoever owns a team can do what they want. If they wanna dress up like WWE and look like the tag team champions of the world, face paint and all, go for it.
You shouldn’t be in your feelings, it’s off base. I’ve personally never liked Dion and he’s just a guy people love to hate. Nodbody wants his toes cut off or anything like that, just kick his ass on the football field like normal sports. Don’t insinuate bs, if you’re going to say it say it. I’m sure there are people on this planet that don’t like Dion because he’s black but that’s not why i personally don’t like him. Insisting that’s why Dion isn’t liked is weak as hell. You do realize a lot of people don’t like him right?
