ETN seems to have better vision. Last night it seemed Johnson had several cutback lanes wide open and didn't take them.

You're not wrong. Swamp Gas is policed to curtail any opinions deemed to be overly negative. Talk to your friends away from this board and you'll get a different opinion of our play and where we are as a program...especially those who have been fans for last 3-4 decades. So no, you're not wrong but sometimes the truth hurts.

I’m sure we can do better but that was vanilla. First half against Tenn was different. We passed the sidelines and then ran. We will need some wrinkles against Kentucky because we can just run with this line. Ken Vandy had five interceptions so tgat may go our way a bit next week. Dart can’t throw three against us and win can he?

Probably already been mentioned but ETN only had 8 carries!?

I don't know how it could be any more obvious, but I guess some people just don't want to recognize truths that disagree with their narratives.

Wrong. I predicted an 8-4 season (it’s in the preseason prediction thread) and still stuck with that prediction even after the opening game loss. You’re just mad when people don’t pump the sunshine 24/7 and offer valid criticism about the team.

I think Napier recognizes that ETN is the better back. I suspect he may have wanted to give Montrell more work this week and not potentially bang ETN up with Kentucky looming.

I didn't. In fact, your post sorta ripping the site is still up, so we didnt take it that personal.

Look, we have a pay side for the more blunt discussions. It is more active than this side in fact. But as far as the free board goes. The side that is public and nany players, recruits and families have been known to frequent (Pouncey mom for instance, a kickers dad for instance), the choice has always been to be stricter on the free side. My guess is Tiger Droppings isnt a place known to have gator players and parents visit. Perhaps this sites relative closeness to the program requires the rules be as they are?

Just something yo think about as we all get grumpy over kids playing a game for our amusement .

The key is "overly", you just said it yourself. And my friends away aree nowhere near as negative. Its a known fact that message board peeps are more passionate and care more than the average Joe.

    In my head--- UF
    Oh brother.

Simply typing a hot take like "horrific in game coaching" without anything else is just silly, beneath the guy who posted it, and serves no purpose.

Negatives abound. What were they? It may be craaaazy but not everyone saw the game, on only saw pieces.

It's why this is a post game DISCUSSION.

I saw below average playing calling on third down, and playing it safe on 4th down.

    Found a kicker.

I saw that the backup Oline needs a lot of work. Where would you expect those student athletes to get reps? live action against an overmatched team.

I saw 75 yards rushing by the 49er offense. 28 guys played on defense.

The negatives? Most saw them. Do they need to be pounded into the fans on this board over and over and over?

They aren't "police"on here - but hey if you don't like it,------>there's the door

in ALL kinds of weather. Onward

Georgia also gave up 21 points on defense.

Comparisons like this are not very meaningful.

Except I didn't rip the site. I stated it is more heavily moderated, a fact which you have now agreed is true. I gave a suggestion to another poster who said they wanted more open discussion--no different than what you are doing now plugging the pay board. *Shrugs*

This. Wilson could have played with a bruised shoulder I imagine as well, but why risk it.

Also THREE starting OL didnt play the first half and Kingsley didnt play at all.

No chance for the OL to get any rhythm.

Last night was just a flat performance sandwiched between big games.

    Tale as old as time.

He had one that was either going to be a TD or big gain, but he slipped. He knew it too.

Pretty sure the poster you are addressing meant we needed two such boards HERE. Your answer already exists. I am pointing out that we DO have that. You were telling him to eat at a different cafe rather than explore the menu closer.

Two pick sixes against Vandy is not Mertz. So their offense scored less than 30 on Vandy. Was vandy the best team they’ve played all year? Don’t get too scared just yet.

On Mertz big slide, he ended up taking ETN legs out. I thought at first he was hurt, but later in the game he came back in for a couple big plays, so who knows.
