If you were concerned with Mertz getting injured....why not keep him out the 1st half when our O-linemen were suspended....then let him play the 2nd half.....I mean if we're talkin' "injury" strategy......

 

Mertz is one of the most experienced QB's in the country. I would much rather have the plan B with next to no experience on the field if at all possible.

 

Not nitpicking but as the game is settling in, does it feel they are playing down to Charlotte's level?
