That's probably where OSU's AD's words came from. Smith probably told him UF will give him 5k for a visit and when is OSU going to give him 5k for a visit. The AD had to keep the fans breathless to keep the NIL coming, like when he said that Georgia was outbidding them.
I remember reading Dobbs was the most intelligent player to ever play for Tennessee...this certainly reinforces that belief.
