After winning set 4, thought Gators would roll in set 5 and the win. Not so much.
Down 3, rallied to tie at 12.

Huge win for the team to go on the road in Stucky’s first full game out and get a win against a ranked team. Should really help with the mental side. And happy for Muff, she has been out in an impossible position. D2 player replacing an all American on a team with a shot at a title. That’s rough.

Gutsy comeback win. I'm happy for the team and Gator Nation.

    Special championship season chances?

    Bing Videos

No creativity whatsoever from the coaches. Rallying around Muff was the answer that almost wasn't enough. I expect this to continue.

To be the best, UF will have to think outside of the box. At Auburn was the quick fix easy answer. This will not work against the better SEC teams and the top teams in the NCAA tourney. UF has excellent players but will have to be reorganized to compete for championships.

I was happy and surprised to see Madee Gravlee get into the match a few times. UF can use her 6'4" height with Gabby Essix apparently playing so poorly that she had been beaten out by Nnedi Okammor and with Kira Hutson seemly fixed in her Gator jumpsuit for the 23 season.

I couldn't see it live, but got up to see the results this morning. Big win in a dangerous game for the Gators. Losing Stucky still hinders us A LOT because she's just that good. But Muff is filling in admirably and the team is adjusting.
    Thrash Georgia.

The things Stuckey could do that Muff simply can't are block at the net and knock down that dunk shot for a point 4-5 times per match. Muff just doesn't have the size. She serves pretty well and got better in distributing the ball as the match went along. But Alexis is a special talent who can't be replaced. That said, the TEAM needs to play much better going forward. 20 services errors is unacceptable, as was 27 attack errors. Martin only hit .120, by far her worst outing as a Gator. And the team only hit .204. But a win is a win and bouncing back after the shock of losing Stuckey to pull out this match should give them more confidence. Georgia should be an easy win, but the schedule will be a grind and they have to keep improving as a unit in life after Alexis.

Watched the match last night. As many pointed out UF passing was off and Auburn made a ton of service errors. These ae not unrelated. Auburn had to serve very aggressively. Very aggressive serves can result in aces, poor passes and over passes. They can also result in service errors.
