Mike Bianchi: After Gators beat Vols, can we please stop with the Napier nonsense?

Are you talking the ones who constantly put our team down or the ones that get tired of listening to tge negativity?

 

You say put down and negativity; I say objective observation. (Or, admittedly, sometimes clumsy attempts thereof. I'm certainly guilty of that.)

In any case, I've not seen a single poster on this board who is "constantly" anything.

Who is saying to get rid of Napier? Maybe a fringe element but certainly not the majority. I’ve heard the majority saying give 3-4 years to turn around program. I have heard more fans ask for a new OC and new ST Coordinator

 

OMG - what total BS. And I mean TOTAL.

The sad thing is that if we lose to Kentucky all the noise we come back.

 

Not to mention there will be no "east" next year.

There is a saying about a blind squirrel being right about the time twice a day, but I forgot what it is.

We'll also be hearing about how foolish it is to be happy with just about any positive development that occurs throughout the season.

 

Kentucky is the favorite as of today, giving 3.5 points.

 

Good. Hope we stay underdogs for that one.

 

I agree, especially with the OC and ST situations. We're heading into game 4 of Napier's second season, there shouldn't be any "Illinois in the system" at this point.

We all knew this season is a rebuild year. Couple that with a very tough schedule, most Gator fans, like myself, didn't have high expectations coming in with this season. Hopefully, we will win more that we lose. It's not necessarily about the losses, but how we lose that's more important to me.

 

If there's an OC he can coach ST.

 

It's late in the evening, and I haven't had a single beer either.

Of course they are crouched and waiting. Kentucky is definitely not a gimme game. It’s definitely winnable but not a game we should expect to win 9-10 times. The whiners will be back out in force. We should be pissed if we lose, that's normal but all the fire tge coach crap is just plain dumb.
