RIP. Nice long tenure at Dartmouth. I remember him being a good guy.

 

This is so sad ….. he was much too young. Prayers for his family ….. peace and healing.

Just noted, reading Coach’s obituary that former Gator DB Sam McCorkle is the acting/interim head coach at Dartmouth.

I don't think enough people realize the tremendous increase in pedestrian deaths that is going on now.

Longtime NFL coach Greg Knapp died after getting hit by a car while bicycling in 2021.

 

That is really sobering data. We've had a rash of pedestrian/bicycle deaths in Gainesville lately too. A number of them hit and runs. Are there any thought as to why this large spike has occurred.

 

Everyone driving bigger cars than we used to.

 

My dad used to occasionally bicycle to work until he was hit by a hit and run driver. He survived but he had a limp. They caught the driver and he said he didn't see him. However, he had already stopped and told my dad that he'd be back.

 

Back as in Terminator, I'll be back or I'll be back with help? Obviously neither occurred.

Thank you. Just that he would be back. He hit him with a lot witnesses and had no intentions of coming back, but some of the witnesses told the police who he was.

 

Thank goodness there are still some good people left on this earth.
