We have a few here that probably believe this...

"Experts Believe Aaron Rodgers Ankle Injury A Result Of Being Unvaccinated

NEW YORK, NY — After the devastating reports came out that star New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers had suffered what is suspected to be a season-ending injury to his Achilles tendon, experts immediately expressed belief that the injury was a result of Rodgers being unvaccinated.

"Taking the vaccine would have likely prevented this," said Dr. Arthur MacArthur, a sports physician who has never treated Rodgers. "Research that we just came up with a few moments ago indicates there is a new COVID-19 variant that specifically attacks tendons and ligaments, particularly in the ankle. So Aaron Rodgers, due to his unvaccinated state, clearly came down with a sudden case of what we are referring to, as of right now, ‘COVID ankle.'"..."

I see you gave me a come on, man. But this is weird. You proclaim to be for science but being for science must mean dealing with information that calls the validity into question. Like I wrote earlier, I'm not diminishing Fraiman (i.e the person) but there are legit criticisms about the validity of the study and if it can't withstand those criticisms, then it shouldn't be treated as evidence.

Anyway, my doc didn't not recommend another vaccine. I haven't spoken to him about it. Remains that you keep making the same mistake in inferring from vax rates what doctors are reccing or not.

I gave a come on man to the reality you won’t listen to him. He acknowledges the limitations if you would take the time to actually listen. But he has real reason to be concerned.

There is no reason we should be advising any young healthy person or really anyone at this time to take the shot. Offit might advise the obese 90 year old (I would even disagree with that now). But it is clear the fools in our country pushing these shots do not have a clue about medicine and science. Doctors are going to be like Offit. No thank you to the shot and they are not pushing it. Which is why maybe 7% of the country will take. Even you know it is not necessary!

If you actually listened to Offit, he said if you already had three boosters plus an infection, your immune memory cells are strong enough that you don't need another booster, unless you have serious comorbities. That is not advocating against the vaccine at all. And I assure you, Offit understands small fever, fatigue, and muscle soreness aren't safety signals. They are natural side effects of every vaccine known to man.

Get out of here if you think Offit would recommend I take one of these shots today.

Offit had already recommended his kids not take the booster. He has been at odds with the idiots at the cdc and fda for a long time now!

Are you at least triple vaxxed? Under 60? Had COVID in the past year? No major n underlying health conditions? Say yes to these and you are correct, Offit wouldn't recommend another booster. Answer no, and he would.

    Such a ludicrous statement!

I did presumably have Covid recently (and it was nothing but a cold). But I have zero shots. And there is no way he would recommend I take a shot now.

Public health focuses on the health of all, not the individual. Every study shows hybrid immunity is better than NI alone. You are an individual, and you may not need the shot. But millions of people with NI only? All data shows they would be more protected, have less severe cases, less hospitalization, and less death with the vaccine.

COVID-19 Vaccines Revealed as 'Neither Safe, Nor Effective': Watchdog | The Epoch Times

COVID-19 vaccines were authorized in Canada during 2020 and 2021 without being subjected to the country’s safety tests as required under established drug regulations, an accountability watchdog revealed.

An investigation into COVID-19 vaccines found that they were “neither safe nor effective,” according to the nonprofit organization National Citizens Inquiry (NCI). The organization published a report on Sept. 14 detailing the flawed mechanism through which the vaccines were granted “approval” in Canada.
“It is important to understand that the COVID-19 vaccines were never approved under the traditional approval process for drugs in Canada,” the report states (pdf). Instead, Health Canada, the federal agency responsible for national health policy, approved the vaccines through an alternative authorization process—an interim order.

Moreover, the order made sure that the vaccine authorizations couldn't be revoked even under evidence that they were unsafe and ineffective. Once an interim order is issued, the typical Food and Drug Regulations don't apply.

I wonder if doctors have received a memo instructing them to back off recommending vaccines because there’s been enough killing ?

I have noticed that excess mortality is receding a bit (still high) as vaccine uptake wanes.

More garbage. Nutter commission (self-appointed btw) that used a lawyer and a cancer Dr. as experts. Sure that's better than all the actual evidence from world immunology experts. LOL Be better.

Gentle reminder that there is nothing to vaccinate for. So ‘vaccine efficacy’ is a meaningless concept.

That said, vaccine safety is not.

And out of the 2200 or so of people that died in Florida, how many were run over by a bus?

Why should I "listen to him" as opposed to evaluating the study where he was lead author?

In any case, it's standard practice--indeed a requirement--to discuss limitations in a study. But limitations are not a bulwark against design flaws that affect the validity of the findings.

Uncritically accepting findings from studies (Frairman et al.) and misrepresenting nuanced positions (Offit's) and being led by personalities rather than science to confirm biases doesn't seem to me to be demonstrative of understanding science/medicine/public health.
