The volumetears only scored 9 points in the second half. Only 2 more points than we allowed in the first half. I’d say our defense did a great job of keeping them fairly subdued. The offense in the second half, whether Napier admits to it, was protecting (1) the lead, and (2) a QB with a freshly lacerated thumb on his throwing hand. I think we were more conservative on offense there as a necessity, out of concern, rather than by preference.
