I'm the cheesiest coach! (UT game hype video)

The UF assistant coach saying at halftime to "keep your foot on their neck" didn't exactly go as planned.

 

Maybe he said it to the wrong person.

 

That was Brandon Spikes and I think he was talking primarily to the defense.

 

The volumetears only scored 9 points in the second half. Only 2 more points than we allowed in the first half.
I’d say our defense did a great job of keeping them fairly subdued.
The offense in the second half, whether Napier admits to it, was protecting (1) the lead, and (2) a QB with a freshly lacerated thumb on his throwing hand. I think we were more conservative on offense there as a necessity, out of concern, rather than by preference.
