I just get confused by posters that claim to be Gators but seem to only want to post afer a loss or when bad things happen. To me, thats an unusual way to express fandom. Sure, it's understandable to criticise bad play or play calling but where are all those posters when UF is winning? Not real impressed with those complaining about the 2nd half of UT either. It's like some posters expect blow out excellence every quarter, every possession and every down. As if the other team does not exist. It's crazy, the greatest college football dynasties on earth are not perfect all the time. I'm just freaking happy to send UT home with a loss!
Yes, it's a wonder what a pick play here, and a push-off by the receiver there can do for their scoreboard.
Away games are tough. But this year's team is not last year's team. We may not win them all but the corner has been turned. We have a good team now - starting to have a bench and leadership. The future is bright.
Have y’all already discussed about how Armstrong had our DL play this spread? It was really cool to see how our defensive ends would adjust out wide to defend the inside WRs on the underneath stuff when UTk went wide splits. I need to see what Varnadore says.
This, to me , is the key to my frustration with most ultimatum type posts from folks. We might have a fantastic recruiting class, then we'll start to see the posts about having this kind of talent means we should be winning it all. But our opponents are also out there busting tail recruiting, coaching, organizing. At this stage in life I'm content with competing hard, with excellence as the goal, and let the chips fall.
Your perspective is proper so ignore the immature posts from incomplete people. The only way to enjoy this forum is cherry pick threads and scroll quickly by eye roll inducing posts.
No Moten did not play. According to the snap count report posted in GC yesterday, Castell & Mitchell played every snap at the safety positions!
That was a little surprising, the safeties did kind of look like they were getting a bit tired in that 3rd quarter, a lot of walking up to piles moving toward our goal line, rather than getting stuck in.
More on Austin Armstrong and his effect on our defense... right man for the job. https://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs/current/team/22
