I really can't see how he would have any chance of winning.

But then again, it is Florida...

Hey Pubs, I'm giving 10-1 odds RIGHT NOW that if elected, Gaetz will not cut the state budget. Keep in mind it is currently at a RECORD high. Who's in?

If we’re being honest, Florida deserves this. It’s kinda perfect really. Would really be the cherry on top of what Florida has become.

It's entirely possible that if Trump gets elected in 2024, by 2026 he can simply appoint Gaetz as governor of Florida. That's how dictatorship works.

The crazy part is while he would be more obnoxious and Trumpian he would probably be less damaging to the state than Desantis has been.

Kevin McCarthy wholeheartedly endorses the campaign and urges Gaetz to hit the trail immediately

I've always heard this was his goal. He's popular in his district but not sure how he is perceived in the rest of the State. I doubt Rubio could beat him, for example. I imagine the parties at the Governor's Mansion would make Andrew Jackson's bash at the White House look tame.

No, we do not deserve another pos governor. Wish that atrocity on someone else, please.

The biggest downside to living in Florida is the Floridians.

He could very well get elected in Florida because he has name recognition, he’s a republican, and what Democrat in Florida has the name recognition, money, and support to beat him?
