More hints that things seem about to break big, but so far haven't seen publicly reported results which justify some of these info drops

Ukraine asking Germany to enforce sanctions and confiscate a German made tool used for weapons production from reaching Russia. It is on a truck in Turkey headed to Russia.

Will Germany ask Turkey to stop the truck or will Erdogan refuse or will they both stall until it is to late?

Ukraine Asks Germany to Halt Ammunition Tool Headed for Russia (msn.com)

The CNC machine, which uses computer-operated tools to make precision instruments, is required to produce high-explosive fragmentation projectiles used by Russian forces in Ukraine, the documents say.

“It goes without saying that once the machine reaches Russia, there will be little we can do to prevent its use for military purposes by Russia: time is of the essence,” the agency wrote.

The Ukrainian demand underscores concerns that Russia has worked around European Union sanctions to import banned equipment used for military purposes via countries such as Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.

The machine’s journey — from Istanbul to a Russian port on the northeastern shores of the Black Sea, which Bloomberg was unable to independently verify — lays bare the challenges EU authorities face in enforcing restrictions on Russia designed to weaken its defense capabilities.

I think that’s a reasonable request that a good ally should accommodate. We will see.

Russia is believed to running out of something called "resources". Rest assured, there is essentially no need for Russia to have resources during this war. They have virtually no demand for resources. And yet, some people think that Russia should have these resources. A country as great as Russia can win a minor war like this just by showing up and going on parade to the capital city. All of the fighting they are engaging in is just theater for the masses. It makes everything a bit more dramatic for the press releases.

Russia is exhausting its resources and 'a reckoning is coming,' says Ukraine's spy chief

NOOOOO ! ! ! The press release was supposed to read "over-performing troops and high-quality equipment"! How did this get past the Kremlin censors?

Another gem from the article: Russia's 25th Combined Arms Army only has 80% of the personnel and 55% of the equipment it's supposed to have. I'm sure they'll have a chance to pick up some abandoned roadside equipment on the way to the battlefield. But's it's o.k.--the quality of the personnel in these new units is a little on the low side, so they might not know how to operate the equipment anyway. Better to send them in with empty hands than with something they might hurt themselves with.

Additionally, Russia's economy is projected to crash in 2025, if not earlier, and the flow of weapons will dry up in 2026.

Russia fires cruise missiles at imaginary targets off Alaska, mocking the Russian army's efforts in Ukraine. They are also demonstrating that they can waste good missiles as well as the rest of the Russian military can.

They just want to be sure that the rest of the world knows that Russia is ready to defend its indefensible claim to owning the Arctic Ocean, in case Canada wants to start something.

This war is devastating on so many levels. I can’t imagine the human toll of losing 80-90% of personnel.

Ukraine sending drone operators to strike at Wagner forces in Sudan?

Exclusive: Ukraine’s special services ‘likely’ behind strikes on Wagner-backed forces in Sudan, a Ukrainian military source says (msn.com)

The operation involved a series of attacks on the paramilitary group Rapid Support Forces (RSF), which is believed to be receiving assistance from Wagner, the Russian mercenary group, in its fight against the Sudanese army for control of the country.

CNN was unable to independently confirm Ukraine’s involvement in the series of strikes. But video footage obtained by CNN revealed the hallmarks of Ukrainian-style drone attacks.

Two commercially available drones widely used by Ukrainians were involved in at least eight of the strikes, with Ukrainian text seen on the drone controller. Experts also said the tactics used – namely the pattern of drones swooping directly into their target – were highly unusual in Sudan and the wider African region.

Covert strikes by Ukraine in Sudan would mark a dramatic and provocative expansion of Kyiv’s theater of war against Moscow. Aside from a string of Ukrainian drone attacks that hit deep inside Russian territory, Ukraine’s ongoing counter-offensive has been focused on the country’s occupied east and south.

Ukraine defeats three brigades in capturing Andriivka and Klishchiivka, causing the Russian units to become "degraded". There are rumors of Russian troops pole-dancing for individual roubles in the seediest bars in Andriivka . . .

Ukraine's capture of two villages shows 'severe degradation' of Russia's defending troops, experts say

Ukraine is having some success hiring Russian troops to kill other Russian troops with its "double agent" program. Morale (and pay) must be a little low over there. And the propagandists thought the cash we were sending to Ukraine was going to waste! It's providing jobs AND travel opportunities for Russian soldiers! C'mon! Get on board already.

Russian soldiers working as double agents are killing their comrades for cash and the chance to live abroad, report says

More stories of Russian troops being sent into battle with nothing more than shovels.

Also, a Russian soldier claims his unit lost 600 out of 1,000 soldiers to enemy fire. For some reason, this is higher than official Russian reports. Hmm, I wonder why that is? How could that possibly happen?

Russia has a new program for improving morale and discouraging surrender. Gifts of artillery shells for any soldiers thinking about surrendering. Not sure this is the wisest way for Russia to deal with its artillery ammunition or manpower shortages, or the best way to improve morale as they work on losing this war.

Russia opened fire on its own surrendering soldiers with artillery, Ukraine says
