I can't decide if this is good or not. But we have stunk it up at night in Lexington so maybe this will help.
Good. Much rather have a road game early in the day. Less time for the KY locals to get liquored up and make noise!
Even with their crappy weak schedule this season, CBS is still gonna load up on the mutts. They picked the UGA-Auburn game that week. So that’s at least 3 games they’ll be on the prime telecast. I thought they might finally throw Kentucky a bone that weekend. UF-UK is a really good matchup.
High ranked teams get on CBS a lot, it's looking likely our one and only game on the last year of CBS coverage will be Georgia.
UF @ Lsu might be picked by cbs if both keep playing well. Of course, Lsu would throw their typical tantrum about having to play in the daytime.
Woulda had a better chance of that had we taken care of business vs Utah. I’m fine with a noon kick at UK, and I’ll be there in person so I’ll be immune to Beth Mowins (yes syncing the game to the Gator Radio Network is the professional way to watch from home).
We’ve lost 3 games to Kentucky since 2018 and they were all night games. Noon game is not a bad thing for us.
Yeah obviously Lexington by no stretch of the imagination is difficult compared to most SEC venues for opposing teams. That said, you still don't want UK and a lubricated night crowd feeding on each other for what they always hype up into their super bowl. This is one of the rare times I like a noon kick.
Noon kick, night game, doesn't matter. Just don't turn the ball over or commit 15 penalties, should finally be able to restore some order in this situation
