My wife and I went to the lake over the weekend for a delayed anniversary and there's no cell coverage. It wasn't until we got 20 miles closer to Birmingham when I found out the score. I am stunned to say the least and my son, the Bama student, actually watched our game and texted me quite a few times and I got them all at once. The last one, he ended with, Go Gators! He did say, we didn't attempt a single pass in the 2nd half. Is that true?

Players coming in hold weight for the future in my eyes. These same guys for the most part will line up next year. Upper class men usually get better each year. Think 07 to 08. We won’t win a cha next year but we may be preseason top 10?

 

After we pound fsu and win a bowl game with no opt outs.

 

Luckily our roster has a lot of underclassmen, so true opt outs, guys headed to the nfl, should be very few. The kids planning to transfer are still likely to hit the road as quickly as they can, and we shouldn’t be upset about that.

 

Is everyone as superstitious as me and thinking RealGatorFan must go to the lake with wife every Gator game.

I don't know if UF will be ranked next year. I do know the schedule is the most severe I have ever seen a UF team have.

My "personal" schedule is I am optimistic UF will compete for an SEC East and SEC Championship trophy by 25 and hopefully a playoff berth.

Next year, would accelerate things for sure but that schedule is awful.

I would love to see Mertz be in a position to stick and play again for UF and not throw the whole thing at DJ.

And while I'm at it, we run the table here on out and go 14-1 this year, that would do just fine too!

We are young now. We will be young again in 24, but 25 should see a ton of experience come into the fold so I'm hoping 25 might be a magic year. I would be happy to be incorrect about this however and would like to see the jump sooner.

 

UF has won 17 of the last 19 against the Vols.

Next year will be a fire to harden steel. It will be nice to have a very experienced QB and others.
