What we need is a bunch of lack-of-respect. One, it was only one game at home and a rabid fan base. And two, we don't want another "Kentucky" experience, a la last year. Just stay angry and hungry.
I know rankings mean nothing right now but … same record as UT and only loss to the #10 team but they are ranked. Nonsensical.
Nailed it. We’re 2-1 having faced two ranked teams with the loss on the road in our opener to the defending PAC Champ. They’re 2-1 having faced no ranked teams and got throttled on the road against an unranked squad who had a losing season last year. The other two games UT played were also unimpressive. Early season rankings are ridiculous in my humble opinion.
I think I actually prefer it this way. Use it as motivation. Great to be a GATOR! No team I’d rather support!
After watching ESPN this morning, I was under the impression that only Colorado played a game last night.
I assumed as much, which is an example of why I stopped watching that network unless it’s a particular game I’m interested in.
The coaches poll is a complete joke. We lost to Utah by a respectable score and beat Tennessee. Who has Tennessee beaten to be ranked above us? NO ONE.
Well its not like there was a decisive head-to-head matchup very recently to directly compare the two teams. Oh wait...

I doubt many recruits care or make decisions of future education and coach based on the accuracy of the polls in the early season. You’re free to believe so, but you’ll never convince me of such. I think the early season disrespect does more to create W’s on the field, something I think a recruit would focus on more intently than the Coaches and AP after week 3.
Um, are you saying there was a gaaaaaaaap in coverage? I am SHOCKED! They are in the chicken wings selling business. It is what it is.
