IMO, it is our place to ridicule and cajole "those folks". Now we are the UCF of the rivalry. Kind of sad, guys and gals. They handily won last year with an NFL QB and some other nice pieces. And we had a bunch of guys who did not buy into Napier's system. This IS a new day and to act petulant isn't a good look.
38-33 isn’t exactly “handily won” IMO. Our defense was what it was, but we were very much in last year’s game.

Was ready to take on the whole bar: and during that first and last trip to that pool of vomit they call Knoxville, someone threw a bottle at my wife’s head. The year we went to the end zone in 4th and 11 with the rain in the second half during the 95 and 96 games. This was in 96 I think because 95 was when it rained and second and Danny made it rain in 95 and the same thing happened up there in 96 (long live!). Little buzzed. I hope something made sense up there but hate UT.

All I will add at this point is; I’ve lived in Knoxville since 1994, most of that time working for the Vol equivalent of Ben Hill Griffin. The vast majority of those years our teams have made living with Big Orange fans pretty easy. I look forward to Monday at work. As my dad told me, “When you lose, say little. When you win, say less.” They hate it when you shrug with “same ole same ole” nonchalance.
