what happened is the back judge accidentally kicked the ball as he was going back to the offensive backfield and it had to be reset which gave us the opportunity to substitute- just one of those things that can happen during a game
Excellent point and a great win. It seemed to me the defense in the second half was playing with an understanding that the big pass play was the only way UT could consistently move the ball. The extra benefit is now the book is out on UT's pretty little offense with Milton at the helm.
One more thing, if our players are punished for this blatant personnel foul by the Tennessee player on our QB then their coach has to held accountable for his useless timeout with 7 seconds left in the game... while down by 13 points. He knew he could not change the outcome of the game, yet that A-hole still called that timeout. He and his actions instigated that whole chain of events. He should be suspended.
Sorry to hear that, my Gator friend. I guess you got a front row seat with a big screen/surround sound all to yourself? Next best thing and a close second, IMHO.
One thing to consider, i'm not sure any punches were landed. Micah had some good footwork, a few jabs followed by a right cross.. but it seems none found their mark.
Mitigating circumstances should be considered here since it was their coach that started it all with his BS useless timeout with 7 seconds left in the game... down by TWO SCORES, 13 points.
Agree... But that last block by #6 (Shemar James) was genus... he really wanted to take him out, but it could have been called a blindside block which is no longer legal. Turning his back to block was actually a good idea, considering the consequences. That was a fun, fun, fun play...
And while we're at it, a vastly overrated FB coach as well. That team he brought down here was out-coached, out-played and out-charactered. If UT and her fans aren't twisting in wind after this debacle, I don't even know what to say. What a bunch of losers.
