So many people were panning Billy for nabbing him, some of those people also being ones that lauded Spurrier “for getting kids that wanted to be Gators”

maybe Billy liked that about Mertz cause it appears he really has embraced being a Gator

 

I haven’t read whole thread but if you’re up 19 might as well run the ball and play safe football. I had no issue with it. If you weren’t entertained enough by the game or our 2nd half offense, I don’t know what to say. Billy coached a great game and the W was really never in question

 

I had to turn off that game. The ESPN slobber fest was too much to take.

The playcalling looked just fine before Wilson went out and Mertz was hurt.
