You know that Mertz had injuries to both of his hands, don't you?

 

Tennessee outscored the Gators 9-3 in the second half. I’d score that as a decent result considering who was calling plays for the Vols.

 

I’d like to see the video of the hillbilly running out on to the field.

 

So, I'm guessing the dollies don't think it was obvious.

 

Are you reporting on the Pitt - WVU game?

 

The offense without Wilson was different. I think he is going to be really special. I hope he’s back soon.

Enjoyed hearing Mertz, especially talking about how great the Swamp was tonight

 

In the post-game presser Mertz said the injury to his left hand was no big deal, had a similar issue with it last season, knew if he put a glove on it would be fine. No mention of a right hand injury. Neither hand was bandaged.

 

They scored nine points.

Maybe had we rushed more they would have scored more, so then you would have howled about being reckless, of course.

 

Yeah but it was only both of his hands so he still could have thrown it.

 

I for one enjoyed tonights game. I'm not even mad about the conservative play calling in the second half. I think it was the correct strategy with a lot of unknowns on the offensive side of the ball. A pick six might have actually ended up costing us the game. Well played Coach!

 

Josh Heupel is a gross human being... on the inside and outside.

 

Really wished we hadn't sat o the lead in the 2nd half.
Defense played well.

And he toughed it out and won.

 

The 2007 defense was super young but really talented. Took our lumps that year but people were excited for the future. This team is really young as well and so far is getting tons of growth and experience without the historically bad results we had that year. ( historically bad until Grantham came along)

For those who remember 07 and for those who don't, yall should be really excited for the future again.
