I'm sobbing tears. We're supposed to be underdogs at home. But we're scrapping so hard. I have my entire section rocking and believing, they have actually caught me a few times from falling over from lack of breath screaming. EVERYONE is believing. EVERYONE is feral. This. Is. My. Element! And the Gator defense keeps pointing at us every time we cause a delay of game or false start or help them with a big stop play. Defense is fricking PUMPED and feeding off us. THIS is why I come. The fan synergy with the defense at home... The Swamp is gosh darn magical and I will literally street fight anyone who argues otherwise.

 

Nope, only bad was the special teams leaving 5 points out there.

Get used to it. Mertz is as veteran qb as there is in the league, and he is accurate, every game, not here and there like Milton, who forgot he already lost in FLORIDA to this very Florida team. Brain dead on the field and off the field with his bulletin board material.

Most of us, including me, have been critical of Napier's play calling the last 2 years. He's called a great game this first half. But we also have to recognize that Mertz is executing very well, the offensive line is blocking well and the running backs and receivers and doing great, too.

 

Especially on the road

 

I was clearly wrong about this game. I hope we can close it out. Tennessee straight up bamboozled.

 

Yes I usually want every game to be epic but know we needed a warmup or 2 this year. Utah was a learning experience nonetheless.

 

A long way to go. Got to keep up the intensity. Defense should be well rested only playing seven minutes or so...

 

My thought was that the 2 days of travel for Utah really affected this team and led to the bad play on offense, they have looked good moving the ball in all 3 games, and the defense gives me great vibes man

Our DL is fresh and deep and theirs is not. It's going to be long night for the Vols.
