What i imagine is that fielding it guarantees and easy kneel down before the half. Letting it bounce could, in theory, result in a ball downed inside the 1. And that would be a lot more stressful

This is how I expected to look offensively against Utah. Efficient, tough.... physical running game, passing when you want, not when you need to. Close to 50 plays in the 1st half, continue wearing them down

Got to stop them opening the half and put a nail in it with another TD. If that happens they won’t have a chance to make a come back. Hell they’ve got quit in them now…they almost acted like they wanted to run out clock that last possession

 

The running game seems unstoppable, but if they stack the box, I totally feel confident that Mertz can deliver.
