Theater video surveillance shows US Rep. Lauren Boebert escorted out of 'Beetlejuice' musical | CNN Politics “Surveillance video from a performing arts theater in Denver shows Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert being escorted out of the musical “Beetlejuice” on Sunday after “multiple complaints” from patrons. “Denver Arts & Venues emailed CNN a report Wednesday detailing an incident involving theater officials escorting two patrons out of the theater after they received three different complaints that the patrons sitting in Orchestra C Row E seats 1 and 2 were “vaping, singing, causing a disturbance.”
This latest escapade wound up in this thread: Boebert's new lie about debt ceiling bill vote no show. UPDATE: Caught again!
The behavior itself doesn't matter. Only who performs the behavior. Everything is political. If AOC had been doing it they wouldn't have considered the behavior unacceptable and therefore wouldn't have removed her.
I know she is a maga hero but she was obnoxious. Vaping, taking selfies with flash in middle of audience, singing partially standing, waving her arms. Pregnant woman asked her to stop vaping, boebert of course continued. Gave them “ do you know who i am” on the way out and flipping birds to the staff. https://x.com/joncoopertweets/status/1702649741106909538?s=20
Have you ever been to a musical? Things to avoid: 1. Boob grabbing 2. Vaping. 3. Taking photos or videos without permission. 4. Standing up, yelling, singing songs to the point they are disturbing others.
Busted. We do it to keep the topics lively. Now keep it under wraps before I head to the mod forum and send the black choppers to your house.
"It" was Lauren Boebert, the pregnant woman did not know who was seated in front of her and, unless BoBo was wearing her MAGA halter top, it is unlikely the woman knew the offender's political affiliation.
There's your first problem. Behavior does matter. Boebert behaved like a rebellious, obnoxious, adolescent. Are you seriously suggesting that Denver Arts and Venues, and the 3 complaining audience members were politically motivated? Why not go full on cray-cray, and argue that they were DNC operatives that follow Boebert around and instigate trouble?
He definitely has a point though. We each have a level of disruption, misconduct, harassment, whatever that we will put up with if we like the person doing it. Not at all saying this the case here because I have no idea but when we don't like someone it is way easier to call them on anything. Again, not giving her a pass and if she was disruptive, she should apologies and improve her actions in the future.
