US House's McCarthy opens long-shot impeachment probe of Biden

I'd be willing to bet that not every Republican in the house will vote yes if it ever comes to a full House vote

 

I keep reading here how terrible he is and a criminal. Should be easy to prove. If he is a criminal, educate the electorate.

There isn't a single Democrat anywhere panicked by this.

I don't think the democrats will impeach anyone unless they have actually committed crimes and it can be proven.

 

I would LOVE to see this actually happen and Biden removed from office. When all of the White Nationalists in the Republi-ban cult wake and realize that they have put a black woman into the White House through their own actions.....their heads would collectively explode inside their white hoods.

 

People don’t seem to know the meaning of the term “evidence.”

Admissions from Hunter Biden paying daddy’s bills, using his dad’s influence to threaten foreign actors, in one case claiming his dad was right next to him… that is evidence.

The weight of the evidence depends on how much you take Hunter Biden at his word here, but heres what I’m not a fan of:
1. Treating Trump as a compulsive liar where everything he says is false unless it’s incriminating.
2. Treating Hunter Biden and Joe Biden as a victim of circumstances and taking them both at their word UNLESS they say something incriminating or impeachment worthy.

 

This impeachment probably doesn’t happen under the status quo of a decade ago, but we’re not there. The genie is out of the bottle and there’s no putting it back in.

Call it whatever you want, I have zero sympathy for Democrats or for Biden here.

 

It already looks really bad, but when Democrats are running the impeachment trial (assuming McCarthy can get passed some squishy Republicans to even get that far), an acquittal is almost certain.

I just hope McCarthy knows what he’s doing. Impeachment has proven to be a numbers game over recent history, not an evidence or logic game. It only takes a couple soft Republicans to tear this thing down like a house of cards for that reason. Republicans really dropped the ball in the midterms.
