The only way to get people to stop talking bad about us is to actually play some good football (if that is possible). I think the reason so many people are upset is that he might be right. But it is only one game. Talk to me after Tenn.
It's good to see that at least a couple of fans are willing to wait seversl games before declaring a trend.
I think he does that against most fanbases including Bama. Case in point… Longhorns Daily News: Paul Finebaum: After loss to Texas, Alabama’s Nick Saban ‘knows it’s almost over’
F'baum is an insult comic whose primary goal is to keep the trailer park crowd guffawing and the click counters counting. Viewed in that light, he's actually pretty good at what he does. He just doesn't amount to a bucket of warm spit as an analyst or a wider-spectrum entertainer. Frankly, I've tried watching SECN, and it just didn't work out for me.
I don’t watch his show, but I do like SEC Nation. The guys keep him in check for the most part and he seems like comic relief with his sometimes outlandish takes.
Well, I was trying to be subtle without pronouncing the "b" for once. Me and subtlety have some catching up to do.
Guy should be a sandwich artist, but for some reason our society loves to give people like him a platform.
Most talking heads are useless. Not sure why so many listen to their mindless ramblings and why so many take what they say to heart. Life can be a lot easier.
Finebaum is going to go with the flow. As long as we continue to put a sub-par product on the field, Florida will be bashed. If and when the recruiting, organization, coaching staff, aligns with game outcome (we start to win), we will become the team people are talking (in a good way) about. If not this week, at some point this year we have to start winning games against ranked teams. Expectation for our success from the media are very low now.. We can use this as an opportunity to kickstart the program.
