Absolutely and if I could I would.if lived closer, I’d have season tix too. I can only make it to a few so I’m very selective. Arkansas and FSU are being considered pending how this season goes. I won’t come if it looks like a beat down is coming. I’m financially limited and can’t justify paying for misery. I’ll go to Billy Strings New Years shows where I’m certain to enjoy it.

That's mighty good news... I'll take your word for it... and I'll expect a win. :D:)

We need to treat Milton like a running back coming out of the backfield, becasue he will run the ball all day long if we leave him unguarded by a defender. So... run-blitz this guy until they figure out how to stop it.

We now have enough depth in the back end to play man-press... man to man. Now all we need is the relentless pressure up front and see how Milton handles that.

And if Tennessee starts running the screens we 'will' be ready with a LB that is there to shadow Milton, and his propensity to run the ball when he feels the slightest bit of pressure.

Some folks really need someone to tell them what they like and why. I never really cared what either of those two clowns had to say. Same goes for any of the nimrod talking heads we have on the sports channels.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and earth. Then He created man and football and large stadiums and He was pleased. Then one of his fallen angels came up with some devilish technological marvels: big screen TVs, comfortable furniture, climate controlled spaces and easily accessible bathrooms and kitchens/ refrigerators. But The Plan was not complete until this angel had assistance: ESPN and Athletic Conference Commissioners and University Presidents. Once they did what came natural to them, the stadium concept became...optional.

And how do we know that this devilish plan is complete? Thursday Night Football. How far the mighty have fallen. In my contriteness, I will drink one more beer on my sofa Saturday evening. It IS my pittinance.

Even if this class sticks as #3 in the nation, what it takes is a minimum of 3 years of such ranked classes. Mixed in with a couple of portal finds. If you look at Kirby Shart, he started getting highly ranked classes but that didn't result in anything until his 3rd year. It wasn't an immediate playoff team.

Um, you forgot one salient point: Year 0 for Napier was with 4-ish years of whatever you want to call Dumbo's recruiting. Mini-Saban had many years of Richt recruiting at Year 0. HUGE difference.

12-team playoffs start in 2024. We will be right in it without waiting another 3 years.

The player average for the 23 class was the highest since 2012 by like a full point, and all of them made it to campus, unlike many of the higher ranked recruits Mullen "signed." He has not proven he can out-recruit the established powers, but he has absolutely proven to be the best recruiter for UF since Urban. Whether or not he can keep it up or improve is the question

Perhaps to win a Natty, but we have to see improvement. You have to see signs. And we have to see schematic improvements in the passing game.

We aren’t going to go from zero to hero.

I have watched some podcasts of previews for the game from a TN perspective, and the sunshine pumpers and journos who have to pump TN give the rationale that the Heupel system is in, and they have a better defense, so the train will keep running. The ones that have been around longer and don't have to pump are aghast at what Milton looks like having not met a decent defense yet and hope he can make it through the game without being replaced starting an era with a true frosh for the rest of the year, and the L's they will pile up, unless Milton can be the man. For them, this game is much bigger to TN than FL with the 20 years of frivolity in Gainesville and the truth being revealed on Milton.

Some believed that their defense was almost as good as Utah, except for the secondary, and that was most certainly Utah's weakest part of their defense. Those seasoned podcasters also said Heupel was laying a smoke screen in press conference, and their center Mays will not be playing and is targeting October to play. Their OL is a group of much less heralded recruits than Butch Jones and bagman had.

It should be an intriguing matchup as to which OL will hold up so that either QB can try to strike downfield and whether either team can establish a running game. If not, whether Milton can run on RPO or designed runs, and whether db are able to jump short routes for turnovers is going to be a big part of this game.

Most pundits (around 80% of them) have Tennessee winning. I feel better about our chances after losing to Utah than if we’d won our first game and are undefeated. This team needed the focus.
