Thanks again. Also, don’t remember if you responded up thread but The Witch and Hereditary are pretty darn good ones if you haven’t seen them.
You’ve definitely peaked my interest on Hereditary. Sounds like one I’ll have to watch when I have a night without my wife, who doesn’t handle the intense horror as well. Im not as sure about The Witch. I watched The Lighthouse and by the end, I was only thinking what the hell was that? I’ll see how I feel after I get through Heredity, lol.
The Northman rocks, same director as Witch/Lighthouse. Probably the most "mainstream" of his films, and lots of action. Its basically Viking Hamlet.
The lighthouse didn’t do much for me. The two movies aforementioned are worth it. Both intense…not much gore. That’s the way I like it. I just started Sinister. Wish me luck.
Ok. I’ll contribute. Equalizer 3 was bad bad. Loved 1. 2 was decent. 3 was terrible. Denzel kept making an expression that made it look like he was having a stroke. Just bad.
Ok this does sound interesting. Rotten tomatoes lists The Northman as Eggers’ lowest rated film …at 90%. Jeez Eggers, lol.
You sometimes see lists of best sequels, but your post makes me wonder about best third movies. Toy Story 3 has to be up there. Back to the Future 3 was not bad. I haven’t seen it, but people seem to like John Wick 3. And that’s about all I can think of off the top of my head.
If we are talking classic horror, Excorcist III is good (might even be the best one), as is Amityville II (ok thats not a 3rd but as horror sequels go its more than decent).
This is one of those movies that I might have seen because of the vague title, but remember nothing about if I did see.
Maybe you'll like Jennifers Body then, with Megan Fox. No lasers or robots, but its not all that scary, sort of a satire really.
That's probably around the time I still had the Netflix DVD service, literally saw everything trying to get my money's worth
Just now started Coherence. So far Rade has been pretty good on movie suggestions. His reputation is on the line…
