Looking nice. I liked him in high school as one of the best in the country being quick and explosive off of the snap, but needing strength work. Besides having plays in the backfield, he played well against the run also. Last game on one play he drove his man into the running lane of the running back, totally blowing up the play.
He was recovering from a shoulder injury in HS and had to gain strength. Jamari Lyons Press Conference 9-13-2023
That can't be right, there were some who swore we were as experienced or more then Utah who has around 15+ seniors and over 25 RS jr/jrs. All jokes aside, I LOVE how CBN plays who earns it and who he thinks gives us the best shot to win regardless of their age and that has to be good for recruiting. Any incoming freshman has to think he could be starting his 1st year on campus if he's good enough.
Jack Miller is back from his shoulder injury. I wondered why he didn't get a single snap against McNeese. I wished he had if for no other reason than to get the bowl game taste out of his mouth.
Kids know it to be true. Napier doesn’t hide them on the bench in favor of older guys. The defense has a ton of young talent and more coming. They will be formidable in years to come. Offensive line has been our weakness for so long and still is. It’s time to load up a wheelbarrow full of cash and get those guys on the roster. In every other roster position , the pipeline looks set for a run in the next few years. If Lagway turns out to be as good as we think he is going to be, don’t let it be the one thing that holds us back from being truly elite. Bama has everything but a qb. How did they miss so bad when they get to handpick their roster.
