Think both D's are better and both O's are worse so, 1/2 last year. UT 19 - 16 UF. Disclaimer: As a Gator and Chicago Bears fan I have been kicked into the Spartan hole from 300 of football despair.
Worry about your Gators here. I am curious to see if UF's defense can keep them down and the offense can get rolling a little bit. I would think though. Tenn - 32 UF - 17
A big play by the Gator defense early throws the crowd into overdrive. Milton is rattled. A few drops or inaccurate passes on 3rd down and Milton begins to crumble. The noise becomes deafening. 28-27 UF
Unless something changes on the offensive side, and I have yet to see something to indicate this, I think we will struggle. I would be surprised to see us score much - maybe 13-16 points. Something like that. Our defense is definitely schemed and playing better. I would say adequate to good but not great. However, I expect them to be on the field quite a bit given the state of the offense and could see a scenario where UT just pulls away over time as we get physically and emotionally drained. If I were betting money I would say UT 31 and UF 16. My heart says this is a winnable game, and of course it is. However, practically speaking I think our offense scheming is so bizarrely off that I doubt we will.
UF 28 UT 21. ETN breaks one for 75 yard TD run with 3 minutes left in game, then Joe Milton throws a pick.
Our O play calling and scheme is just plain horrific and our woes will continue while Billy’s seat gets hotter and hotter. Special teams will give away 10 points. The D will try to keep us in it for awhile but to no avail. Vols 35-13.
24-21 Florida. A bad unsportsmanlike penalty against Tennessee late in the game allows a hail Mary TD that is only held for a split second. This sends UT fans over the edge, and the Dallas Baker curse is back on!
Gators defense is improved, just based on how disciplined we have played the first two weeks. Can still get beat by just having the better player or play call, but goofy nonsense on that side of the ball seems to be minimal. For that reason I think this is a 4 quarter game. End of the day I don’t know what offense is going to show up. Are we going to go with our identity as a running team or continue to try and force Graham Mertz into something he’s not. I say the balanced TN offense and our coaching staff leaning too much on the passing game gets us in the end. UT 28 UF 21
