What are the two sides to the argument? It’s like if I insisted that 2 plus 2 was equal to four. Would the other side need to be listened to?
The whole debate, when vaccination mandates came out, was that at that point, the vaccine still provided a reasonable amount infection spread protection, so it wasn’t just about individual rights - it was about other peoples rights also. Plus, to the extent anti vax meatheads were filling up the hospitals it also affects health care workers. At this point given the virus has mutated many times and infection protection is less, and widespread partial immunity is pervasive, I’m fine with Darwinism taking place and thinning the primarily Republican selfish anti vax herd.
Oh really. Care to prove that every single person who died in the U.S. didn't take the vaccine? The vaccine will cause major long term issues while providing little if any real protection against Covid-19. But you know what. Take the endless boosters. I'm not stopping you. That's your right. What you don't have a right to do is force it in me like your side so desperately wanted to. My body, my choice. Your rights end the minute that needle touches my skin.
I don't have to prove shit. I said I assume it kept him out of the hospital, and he said it didn't, so what is your problem?
Maybe you should actually take your sisters suggestion. I obviously don't know your family dynamics but who is more likely to care about your well being? Your sister or some faceless government bureaucrat or worse some faceless health care company?
Nobody's forcing anything on anybody. There's A difference between force and encourage. Personally, I think anyone who doesn't get vaccinated and boosted is a fool, but you're right, that's their choice.
People were losing their jobs because of the mandate. I lost my job because of the mandate but then threatened legal action against my employer when OSHA rightly shut it down and made sure I received full back pay.
My f*cking body, my f*cking choice. Every human being's rights in the world end when it touches my skin. And I would say that for anyone as well. Nobody, not even the President, has any right to force me to inject something into my body against my will. Nobody was forcing the health care workers to stay if they couldn't handle the heat. I also challenge your claim. It was 50/50 vaccinated/unvaccinated in the hospitals.
