Fans need to realize that results on the field do not matter that much. Our recruits aren’t know that we aren’t competing for anything this season. We’re selling them on bringing the program back to where it should be.

Unless Billy gets fired this season, a majority of this class won’t go anywhereZ

I want this game as badly as any Gator who bleeds blue (I won’t bleed or wear orange this week), but this game is one that a large percentage of Gators should have ticked in the probable loss column before the season started, and that number should have gone up to comfortable majority once we saw the Utah game. Now that said, I saw some improvement last week (yes, I know the quality of the competition), I saw Tennessee struggle against a team they should have beaten easily, I know how tough the Swamp is to play when the fans show up and stay for the whole game, and I know the history of Rocky Flop to lose games it should win. So I’m hopeful. But my hope is that Napier shows up with more than just hope.

    Go Gators!

20 years since UT won in Gainesville is a streak I'd like to see continue. Kind of amazing when you consider some of the teams we've fielded in the last 13 years. But I guess UT has been even worse than us for much of that span!

It really is Doc, UT floundered far worse than UF since the Fulmer / Spurrier regimes retired.

Just ask Deion how long it takes to change perception.
The speed the Buffs operate at is refreshing (and makes me sad).

IF you live your life with that motto you might as well let your granny pick your wife for you.

I never implied I live my life that way. But I’m not sad because Colorado won 2 games.

This FEELS to me a lot like our games with UT during Spurrier years. I’m nervous and as it gets closer I’ll have a queezy stomach: And we won most of those so maybe that’s a good sign.

My sadness only lies in watching our AD pick our coaches.
Thrilled to death Deion is shining a light on what could have been.

And a win this week will change your perception of the team 180.

I'm a big fan of what he's doing up there but don't pretend it's equal footing between CU and UF. CU is coming off a 1-11 season and a 4-8 season. They haven't won more than 5 games since 2016. In fact they've won more than 5 only 3 times since 2005.

There's literally no expectations other than don't burn down the stadium. He was able to come in and completely wing it because I'm pretty sure the rest of the athletic department had kind of just thrown their hands up and given up.

Deion wouldn't be at UF for multiple reasons - he was probably looking for somewhere with no expectations, UF doesn't really fit his style and the fans here would have probably burnt down Scott stracklings house.
