I like it when he said in a speech that the Continental Army "took over the airports" from the British during the Revolutionary War.

I just wish the Republican Party still was fiscally conservative. Both parties are for spending too much money, they only differ in how they want to waste money. I am not sure you are getting what fiscally conservative means.

OMG, you are nuts. Clinton still hasn’t conceded the election. Do you think giving a concession speech is all that’s necessary to concede an election? She, and her followers, still refers to him as a fraudulent president. You had a large portion of the democratic party, skip his inauguration, because they claimed he was illegitimate. Gore did the same thing.

Your claim that Trump gathered people is ludicrous. Trump didn’t gather anyone. I think what upsets you is Trump was so well loved that people gathered on his behalf. Nobody cared enough about Clinton to gather, except this cat lady with they/them pronouns….

If Trump actually controlled his supporters like you and the other sheep claim, do you really think there would even be a need for another election? Trump would be anointed, not elected. Do you think any of these state or federal prosecutors would be breathing? Do you think our Government could stop an actual coup d'é·tat from 74 million Americans?

Your entire position on all of this is pure dark fantasy. Mushrooms are for pizza, not for tea.

About a third of the way through this book. Just mind blowing. I thought I knew how strong the Klan was in the 1920s but I didn't know nearly all of it. Really important reading for understanding poll results like this one.

Took two seconds to look up and find an article verifying that Gore did in fact take part in the ceremonial proceedings of W’s inauguration and the transfer of power.

THE INAUGURATION: THE DEPARTURE; Gore Takes A Last Bow With Grace And Relief (Published 2001)

I guess the world’s media must have collectively missed Gore railing about “rigged elections” and organizing a rally to stop the electoral count.

YES, you make the speech and concede. Do you not understand how this works? Where is trumph's speech? Where were the crazy libbies charging through our capital breaking windows after a rally that Clinton put together?! Oh that's right, it never happened! Where were the sympathizers of Clinton getting in front of every microphone they could to repeat that he was illegitimate....never happened because she didn't push it. She conceded. Gore conceded after rightly trying to get the votes in Fl recounted. He accepted the outcome and moved on just like EVERY OTHER loser of an election does. She never said she won, she knew that Russia was behind all that social media that swayed the election and that is what she meant.

Trumph didn't attend Biden's inauguration when every president who has lost an election has. W was there sitting with Clinton at trumph's. Anyone else who doesn't show up? Who cares! I have much respect for all of our former presidents whether I voted for them or not, EXCEPT for trumph.

Luckily, for now, our country's government is set up that you cannot anoint anyone. That isn't stopping the radical right from trying to make sure they stay in power though. I live in FL, I know.

Get a grip. She said he was illegitimate during an interview two times. It was never put on a flag, a t shirt, or spread across left wing media. No breaking the law to change the outcome of an election. And I'M nuts?!

interesting response. So is your opinion of Trump swayed by the opinion of others? I am genuinely interested in your (and others) response. I don’t think I take the opinions of others into consideration, at least not consciously, when I evaluate others, unless the opinions come from someone I know very well and trust with my life….so like maybe 10 people.

I had a very interesting conversation with a judge on an infamous case I just settled on Wednesday (I may be on GMA in a few weeks to discuss). The judge told me and opposing counsel in chambers that she was told by a “few Judges upstairs” that I was impossible to work with, but she told me that I was one of the best lawyers she has ever worked with to get a case resolved because I spoke straight, made commitments and kept them. I suspect the Judges upstairs were (1) a former adverse attorney (now judge) on a case that lasted 14 years, and the judge who handled that case and was reversed a record 4x on the case ruling against my client. The infamous case I just settled was previously assigned to both Judges before it was removed from them. The point is, the opinion is only as good as the people giving it.

so when Clinton and the Dems call Trump an illegitimate President you posted your outrage here. Can you provide a link so we know you’re not a hypocrite. Thanks in advance.

“No, it doesn’t kill me because he knows he’s an illegitimate president,” she said. “I believe he understands that the many varying tactics they used, from voter suppression and voter purging to hacking to the false stories — he knows that — there were just a bunch of different reasons why the election turned out like it did.”

Or, are you saying you didn’t have any outrage because claiming an elected President isn’t legitimate, isn’t really “challenging” the election? If that’s not challenging the election, then nothing is, and your position is hypocritical.

inmate number P01135809 exactly encouraged his followers to attend the 1/6 rally and then encouraged them to march on the capital which they gleefully stormed with violence. Many maga attendees then found guilty of beating LEO men and women in attempts to stop the election results along with other charges literally said they did it because of what Dear Leader told them.

This is just one of many……
“If the president’s giving you almost an order to do something,” he said, “I felt obligated to do that.”

“Besides being ordered by the President to go to the Capitol, I don’t know what I was thinking,” Thompson told the jury Wednesday. “I was caught up in the moment.”
Dustin Thompson, Jan 6th maga follower found guilty for multiple charges including obstructing an official proceeding.

so let’s see if you are consistent…

If Trump gave a speech today that Biden won the election in 2020, then everything is ok? All cases dismissed?

If not, then, first question: when does the statute of limitations run to concede an election?

second question, (see my other post about Hillary). If you give a speech on Monday conceding the election, are you allowed to call the victor illegitimate on Tuesday without being called a horrid election denier?

    here is your logic:

Joe: “Hey Hunter, you should come to China with me, I would love to spend some time with you.”

Hunter: “Ok dad. I will come”

Hunter accepts bribe from Chinese business man while on Trip

Conclusion: Joe is guilty of Bribery from China because he encouraged Hunter to go to China.

She was wrong to say that. Was I outraged? That's a little overboard, but it isn't challenging the elctions. I thought it was a little over stated, but regardless of what the optics were, he won and she acknowledged that. She didn't go to court with zero evidence just to appease the base. She didn't even have a rally.

It also never elevated to the point that trumph has brought it to. It was something I and most of the country could ignore yet not condone. It was an opinion, not a movement. She came to the podium and conceded. Your links are to words, words that didn't last, and never turned into any actions by any of them or the people who supported them. Stop twisting yourself into a pretzel to make it like you're comparing apples to apples. She made a concession speech, she told her supporters to accept the outcome, and she attended his inauguration. Show me how this is the same as trumph. You're so obviously wrong here.

When presidents speak, their words carry a high level of importance to their supporters. If you have one supporter or millions. I'm just going to leave that here.
