Well he acknowledged some sort of consensual sexual relationship which is an incredibly stupid move on his part considering this woman's history.

Beyond stupid if you ask me, how could he not believe there would not be huge blowback from this?

He said it was consensual, she said it was harassment.

Understood but he is INSANE to jeopardize a 10 million dollar gig to have relations with a woman like this.

I mean no disrespect to her but a Power 5 coach deciding to get it on with a woman who has media agency related to a college football player(s) gang rape scenario?

Are you kidding me? Talk about STUPID on his part.

Long term contract for a coach whose team performed really poorly? Who’d be skeptical of such allegations?

Last year they were bad. And, to be sure, I have no idea if my paranoia is on point. But I can’t help thinking back to Tennessee and how they suddenly had a heretofore untapped ethical epiphany to self-report violations which SHOCKINGLY ended up quickly leading to the termination of their unpopular, long- term contract, Coach.

His choice of someone to have a dalliance with is literally a firing offense for me and most certainly is (probably) a violation of the code of ethics in his contract. I just can't belive a man in his position could have such poor judgement, unless as you suggest, he has underlying self defeating issues.

First off if you are making millions of dollars in your job and want an extramarital affair that goes only to phone sex, there are phone services and online venues for this instead of fishing at work with the person whose job is to blow the whistle on sexual harassment. There has to be a clause in his contract to reduce his pay for stupidity. This is who MSU trusts there 100 million dollar football operation on?
