He loves to paint with a broadbrush and castigate anyone and everyone that disagrees with him… to the point of implying the whole right side is racists or women beaters or whatever his derogatory bent is for the week. Do not ever call out another right leaning poster for broadbrushing again. It's more like a constant barrage of stories with a hole in it. It's all in the presentation.

So I went to that website, RedState, and read. Again it sounds like a story with a hole in it. I'd like to hear the other side. MAYBE she suggested (same word that is in the link) that they up their patrols in that area. Were there other incidences? Was she not the first? Is there any kind of history there?
I'd like a link to a site that is not so biased. That's how I am convinced one way or another.

I had the same issue. While think there is absolutely some irony in the story I’m not sure of all the details.. not enough to form a hard opinion. However,!if the police really do feel that strongly about her suggestion or request or whatever, I imagine she hasn’t been exactly friendly towards the PD.

 

Uhhh . . . I didn't say anything about what I was cool with, nothing about religion, race, or the right. River clearly indicated that one poster made the comment. You asked for the quote and I provided it.

 

It also sounds like there are some real issues with the police department that needs addressing. Not living there or even have seen any news on that area, I'm in need of more real info to have an opinion. Lots of questions and no real answers so far. Also, since she has a history already with the PD, I'm sure some there totally dislike her, thus the response you see from them.

 

fwiw, I enjoy your posts and reasoned debate. I don’t think folks on the left here are lumping you into that group.

For context, that post #3 notice the likes, funny, etc approvals. There is a group that approves that type of rhetoric.

 

Fortunately almost every post by patriotic left of center posters here focuses on what the right does (terrible, no good, very bad things) rather than what they think. TBH there’s a paucity of thinking going on in the GOP.
