I am in 57....been in those same seats since 1985 It was so good to be back in the Swamp...the lighting and fireworks were nice...and we had a pretty nice crowd...Gator Walk was packed..if I knew how to post a photo of it I would..
It wasn’t a blocked kick, it was a bad snap. We also missed a 2 point conversion since you want to harp on that. But the defense looked great from section 5 row 61. I would like to have seen Mertz complete a pass that travelled more than 3 yards foward from the los (bomb to pearsall noted), I wonder if Mertz is hyper conscious about picks considering his history at Wisconsin, so he throws conservatively, but the receivers weren’t doing him any favors on the couple 10 yard plus attempts remember watching
Is it weird that we are in a place where Florida is trying to win games with great RBs and oline and Tennessee is throwin the ball all over the yard? It just seems like… we owned them for the most part with the reverse of that formula. I’m still not totally convinced this style of football on offense works at Florida…. I worry we will get boat raced vs some teams. But when this defense grows up I think we gotta shot to keep everything close. Billy was smart to recruit Dbs so deep
They dropped us within the 1 twice last night. , the last series that led to the tumble and their only score. I still pine for Urban’s coffin kicks on kick offs. I think they moved the kick off line 10 yards and effectively killed that.
All the bellyaching and criticism of the coaches and team after the Utah loss was absurd, but all too predictable. Utah has a good, ranked team, and it was the first game of the season on the road. First games are always unpredictable; just look at what happened to Clemson. Most teams improve dramatically after their first game. I really wish the posters who melt down after a loss would find something else to do until after our next win.

Absolutely amazed at how many freshman played. And no injuries right? This team has the potential to be pretty damn good by the time we face Georgia and ref$u. Got to come out hitting on all cylinders against Tennessee.
I’m in Section 4 and plan on getting into town relatively early to soak it all in. Haven’t been to a game in a few years so I’d imagine a lot has changed. Definitely catch up for a drink!
We’re coming in on Friday. Party downtown Friday nite. Expensive with the 2 night minimums, but a great way to do a game weekend. Go Gators
ET I'm filing a complaint! UF only scored the first 7 times they got the ball. I think they missed scoring their last 2 drives. 7 out of 9 is not acceptable! New offensive Coordinator please !!!! Lol - Great job by the Gators. Seemed like the offensive line was pushing those guys 10 yards off the ball! Very pleased with UF and given UTs performance, I see clear hope for UF to compete if not win next Saturday. Go Gators!!!
