@Ghostmotorfinger 1 hour ago This isn't a coaching issue. It is a player's execution problem. I'm with Coach all the way regardless of this season outcome. 7 @ericchapman5975 1 hour ago With you coach, i see a tough week of practice ahead. Behind you all the way . 4 @stingray8585 1 hour ago At the end of the day, you weren't playing at a higher level coach. I've got faith in coach Heuple GBO 8 @drew7099 1 hour ago My preseason prediction was 8-4. I admit now that I may have been too optimistic. 7-5 looks more realistic and if we have more games like the first two, bowl eligibility may be our ceiling. Let’s not be too hard on Joe Milton. He is doing the best he can with what skill he has. He is the same QB he has always been, nothing more, nothing less. Keep cheering for the Vols. Defense gives us something to enjoy this year. 9 @oreopuppydawg1564 1 hour ago Everyone has a bad game and hopefully this was ours 15 @Drewski423 1 hour ago One of those 1 or 2 guys off was the center. It is IMPERATIVE WE GET COOPER MAYS BACK AT CENTER FOR THIS STRETCH COMING UP. IMPERATIVE. He means a lot more to this offenses success than anybody out there on that field. 3 @ryanottman2042 1 hour ago Ole Cainer found that one question that struck a nerve didn't he! LoL...I think when Cooper Mays gets back, and Heupel and staff coach em up they'll look pretty different next week... I feel like were not reaching deep in the playbook at this point...not for VA or Austin Peay...just feel like Coach Heupel doesn't want to show his hand too much before the Florida game...still some sync issues it seems...i think Cooper will solve alot of that... 6 @billygolden960 7 minutes ago I have to agree, Milton is not going to get us there,if we play that way next week, we'll be out othe top 25,go Big Orange, bring on Nico,Now @gratefulvol7326 1 hour ago Still another 1 added to the Win column. Bounce back game next week. 6 @foster7517 41 minutes ago Don't get too down even ga almost lost to mizzou ap just played harder than we expected 1 @zacharylee5939 37 minutes ago Joe Milton didn't look comfortable at all that game. Tim banks saved us. Our wide receivers should catch almost all those throws. I say put nico in! Maybe he meshes better. Joe doesn't seem like he is running the offense the right way!
Oh c'mon....haven't you learned from the talking heads by now that the Gator fanbase is a particularly awful bunch?
Perhaps UT isn’t as good as advertised and we aren’t as bad as some think. Next Saturday will clear things up considerably
While all fan bases have their whiners, it is the humble opinion of this "talking head" that Gator fans are as bad as it gets. Booing a Steve Spurrier coached team in the Swamp says it all to me.
Jumping to conclusions is all the exercise some fans get, lol. Living in Alabama I am amazed, I have heard fans call for Nick Saban to be fired after a single loss in a season. I will be pretty keen to hear the conversation tomorrow morning and see what everyone thinks. I think there is that element in every passionate fanbase out there, be it sports or whatever. I think it is fun to debate and mix it up with everybody.
I here Price might still be available, Bama will just have to find which Pcola strip club he be hanging in.
From ESPN: No. 10 Tennessee Volunteers (2-0) Since Josh Heupel came to Tennessee, his teams have typically beaten up on the teams they were supposed to. That wasn't the case Saturday as Tennessee sputtered to a 30-13 win in its home opener over FCS foe Austin Peay, the same Austin Peay team that lost 49-23 in its opener to Southern Illinois. The game was tied at 6-6 with 4:55 left in the second quarter, and the Vols didn't score their first touchdown until the 15-second mark of the second quarter when quarterback Joe Milton III scored on a 6-yard run. The Vols had 10 penalties for 88 yards, lost a fumble in the red zone and gave up a 52-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter. Austin Peay actually had more first downs than Tennessee (19 to 17), so the Vols have some things to clean up before they travel to Florida for their SEC opener next week. -- Chris Low Suggestion: PASS THE BALL LIKE YOUR CAREER DEPENDS ON IT.
Talking head = media. Media = talking head. If you need definitions, here ya go: The term Fourth Estate or fourth power refers to the press and news media Fourth Estate - Wikipedia
If we beat McNeese State 30-13, I think our comments section would melted down. Everyone expected and nearly demanded a RUTS on both sides of the ball, just to show we have more than a pulse. But then again, Vol fans can be a little more patient. Since Heupel came to Knoxville, Tennessee is 19-8 (.703). Before that, going back to 2010, Tennessee went 66-69 (.489). They are still in their forgiving stage...
After watching both of their games one thing stands out. They have the fugliest uniforms on the globe.
