So why was the unsportsmanlike penalty for taking your helmet off? He did it while out of bounds after the “catch”?
Was Nebraska the only option Matt Rhule had? He’s gonna have a tough road to hoe in Cornville, imho. Those massive bi-weekly direct deposits will make it bearable though..
He did pretty well turning around Temple and Baylor after 3-5 years. Not so much Carolina. I guess the narrative in Lincoln will be “Frost left the cupboard bare”. Will be interesting to watch. Nebraska should’ve never fired Solich, let alone Pelini.
.... I'm not going to put something out that I believe, but have 0 evidence of. I'll say this, look around college football lately (cough, state of Iowa, cough) and you'll get an idea of what I'm talking about.
I think they are going to be monsters, at least in recruiting. Even if they never make a playoff appearance under Deion, he's going to be taking players here and there from everyone. Kind of a weird synchronicity in that the guy who was the poster child for the shift to unrestricted free agency in the NFL seems to be navigating NIL and the portal like he was born doing it.
I am. I respect excellence, intelligence and courage....no matter where it's found. Didn't see much in your sophomoric post.
That’s the excuse people use when the new coach underperforms, I’m pretty sure the “cupboard was bare” at Colorado but Sanders demolished the cupboard, burned the wood, built a new one and stocked it with guys who are ready to play football.
As I said before, much to dislike about the young Deion, but the guy can coach. He has won at every level. The Colorado fans are having a blast and more will join.
I despised him when he was younger because (1) to me he exemplified the “trash talking” (poor sportsmanship) culture that has consumed sports in America and (2) Seminole, but I have to admit that he can coach, he can motivate and I LOVE that he wants to be a force for good in the lives of young men who need that in their lives.
I haven't watched a non-UF college football game in over 5 years. I watched the first half of this one to see what the hype is about. People can say what they want about Sanders but they have a ton of energy on both sides of the ball and a fun offense to watch. I hope they win a ton of games.
One of the few consolations of this football season: Nebraska losing. Can’t stand them, going for a 7th consecutive losing season. I hope they go 10 in a row.
