More bad poll numbers for Biden. Never knew so many people were Ultra Maga Republicans.

In the few posts you've made in this thread, you've done more work than Joe Biden does in a typical day.

I love your enthusiasm. You should campaign for Biden. You only have to convince about 70% of the population that they are wrong. Good luck. Go Gators.

No. Only about 12% to 13%. 40% of the vote will be for Biden regardless. Just life 40% will be for Trump, assuming they are the two candidates. Only need to convince the middle to win. Clinton, W Bush, and Obama all had similar approval ratings as Biden this far out of the election. How did they do?

I’m not sure of your historical approvals comparisons. I don’t think Clinton got below 50%.

Clinton's low was 36%. I think this time in 1995, it had risen, but there were definitely worries about his reelection. Especially after the 1994 Contract With America R sweep in the midterms.

Biden's better half needs to advise his worst half to not seek reelection. Being an incumbent, particularly one as old as Biden, doesn't make it incumbent on you to run again. Even Lyndon Johnson knew when to quit, based on unpopularity, and he wasn't old. But who knows, maybe Biden's better half is as selfish as his other half is. "I like it in this White House, Joe, and so do you! And lose to Donald Trump? Ha ha ha! Oh, careful, Joe. Don't fall down laughing."

you can’t switch metrics. We were discussing the people’s view on the economy.

For sure there are idiots on both sides of the spectrum that only vote for “their” party. This is why our government sucks…because too many of the voters are sheep.

But the (bad) economy will easily take 3-5% of your sheep and put them into the Pub flock. I predict gas prices will be the tipping point, and the oil companies hate Biden….so watch what happens to gas prices starting around March. I predict $.05-$.10 a week increase.

The only thing that stops the Pubs is Trump.

agreed. Imagine if both Biden and Trump dropped out. I still don’t think Biden has any intent on running. I think Gavin Newsom is being prepped to come in. Biden will announce a health problem and desire to be a grandfather…yada yada yada. Newsom will be “asked” by Dems to lead the party. He will be reluctant, Biden will endorse, no other new Dems will throw their hat it, and that will be that.

They'll just hold their breath, stomp their feet and cry that the election was stolen again. Brace yourself.

Well, I hope Biden has that much character. Newsom? Could be a good choice. I think a sure bet would be to draft Michelle Obama. Of course Trump would say things like, "They couldn't find a better man than that?"
