Sorry for her trouble - our streets should be safe from idiots like the four who attacked her.

 

I am not defending her, but words matter here. She called to dismantle the structure of the police department and build it in a way that serves the community. Isn’t the fact that she is saying the police are still not doing enough to get crime off the streets really an extension of the same issue: police reform to enhance law and order for the people; not to protect the protectors? What’s the issue from the right? Isn’t better policing… better?

 

Hmmm ... am I the one seeing "Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party Official" in the actual story and not "Democrat Party Official, as the OP's headline claims?

That's a nice culture you have there. Don't hold officers accountable, the ones who do want to speak up face retaliation and lack of back-up when needed, keep problem officers employed, target minorities, use force when it's not necessary, don't intervene when it's obvious rights are being violated, hurt citizens who are critical yet not breaking and laws, and on and on....
