Nah, Navarro is absolute scum. As far as I’m concerned it was handled brilliantly. It’s her freedom of speech after all. You know, the thing the right pretends to be all about but throws a tantrum as soon as it doesn’t suit their needs and someone on the opposite side exercises their right to protest.
I hear you. I’m just not a fan of trolling, in general. I have to be consistent… if I don’t like the right doing it, I don’t like the left doing it either. No disagreement with you on Navarro as a person, however. He is a piece of work. Ari Melber got at him pretty good, live on-air.
I mean people like her likely have no real life tbo. Who has time to do this stuff? That said... Its sorta funny. But I tend to agree with MH above. Trolling is sorta silly. Denying him his freedom to speak isnt really what 1A is about. All that siad. I chuckled when she said "you are already facing charges".
Navarro tried to help overturn the election, in other words, our democracy. That's pretty low on the human decency level. But I agree with others about the whistle. Hold up your sign and let him speak. I'm just not a fan of disrupting it.
Where are the cons? This is the clown who was behind socializing trade deals with S. Korea & the socialist beast of NEW NAFTA, not to mention his terrible dealings with China/tariffs. Oh yeah, & the welfare washing machines job program. I guess he doesn't like free trade or free elections.
His speech wasn't denied, but even it was, it wasn't government doing the denying. 1a isn't a right for our speech to be "heard" in public spaces. I thought it was funny if because PN seems like he's easily trolled.
Former Trump adviser Peter Navarro convicted of contempt of Congress | CNN Politics CNN — Former Donald Trump trade adviser Peter Navarro has been convicted of contempt of Congress for not complying to a subpoena from the House select committee investigating the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol. Navarro is the second ex-aide to the former president to be prosecuted for his lack of cooperation with the committee. Steve Bannon was convicted last year on two contempt counts. Bannon’s case is currently on appeal. Navarro pledged to appeal based on executive privilege issues. “We knew going in what the verdict was going to be. That is why this is going to the appeals court,” he told reporters outside the courthouse. “And we feel – look, I said from the beginning this is going to the Supreme Court. I said from the beginning I’m willing to go to prison to settle this issue, I’m willing to do that.”
I enjoyed every uncomfortable second of both videos. He deserves the whistle, the heckle, the jeckle, and everything else that comes his way.
You mean he is not above the law after all? ( he and his cronies think they are and get cheered on in that belief every day from hypocrites who like to bark about law and order).
I understand. Freedom of speech was mentioned upthread and I was expounding. I should have quoted for clarity.
Yeah. My 20 second post is the same as the likely full days it took her to pull that off. Same exact thing.
