Interesting how we don't end with Kentucky any more. CBS used to insist on that one.
It's okay with me, though. We open the SEC schedule with UK in Gainesville and then the 2nd one on the last day of January. UK is ALWAYS more vulnerable earlier in the season.

Brutal January but if we survive that at 5-3 or 4-4 then we could set ourselves up for a very strong finish.

Seems like we're playing more of the formerly western teams and less of the formerly eastern twice.
Ole Miss, Arkansas, Miss Stake, TAMU, Auburn, LSU, Bama twice.
But I could do with less of Kentucky too.

Yep, I don't remember if we've opened the SEC schedule with UK in recent years. :emoji_thinking:
Didn't realize we were playing Pitt either. Are they good?

After some down years, they went 24-12 last season, playing in the ACC. They beat Mississippi State and Iowa State in the NCAAT before losing to Xavier. I saw also that they just lost one of their top recruits to an injury for the season a day or two ago.

I watched games in The Alley. I always tell friends I got to see some really good teams and legendary coaches come to town. It's good no matter. Better when you win a few.

December 19 against Michigan is in Charlotte part of the Jumpman tournament started last year, where we played Oklahoma.
