Spectrum not broadcasting any espn networks (NOW SETTLED!)

Disney is more at fault, They are trying to strong arm Spectrum, and other providers with their bloat channels, forcing Spectrum to increase their rates to consumers, so Disney can turn around and say, hey you can ditch cable and just pay for our failing service and get these channels "cheaper" trying to pump up those numbers. Theres a big reason disney is against ala carte cable programing.

Like i mentioned earlier, I just pay for internet, havent payed for cable in 4 years. Have never missed a sporting event i wanted to watch in that time frame....

 

Anyone using Fubo? Trying to decide among YouTube, Hulu, and Fubo. Only Fubo has Bally Sports Midwest (Cardinals and Blues).

 

My dad used it for a while. He didn’t have any issues with the service, but recently switched due to price increases.

Too late to...

 

I just cancelled my You Tube TV subscription. Wasn't that hard. Did it on my desktop through their website. Painless.

I never changed anything else, so am expecting everything to be back to normal as soon as ESPN shows back up on my Spectrum cable account. So far it hasn't.

Lot of time left before I need it back.

I thought YT TV was OK but too many button pushing to get where I wanted to go - same issue I've always had with streaming.

We'll see what happens......

 

Can confirm all affected channels are back on Spectrum now.....

 

My ESPN is back on Spectrum but not other Disney channels like Nat Geo Wild.

 

OK just checked. Mine neither. Reg NaGeo is up.....and all others....

 

Why you're not getting Nat Geo Wild anymore:

"Under the new deal, Freeform, Disney Junior, Disney XD, FXX and Nat Geo Wild, among other cable channels, will no longer be carried by Spectrum, which instead will focus on the core ESPN networks, FX, Disney Channel, and Nat Geo channels, as well as ABC stations."

Just got an email from Spectrum including this statement:

I never called them during this fiasco. But I will tomorrow because my Internet speed is poor and stuff is freezing up now and again.

Hopefully an easy fix.....
