Allow me to dispel your ignorant delusions. The Tiananmen Square protests were NOT an attempt to overthrow the Chinese government. They were a protest against corruption and for economic reform. Hundreds, if not thousands, of protesters died. They had no weapons. They had to face down tanks and rifles without so much as a steak knife. The Chinese leader that they supported had died, and they wanted some of his ideas to move forward. If you are trying to overthrow a government, it usually helps if your leader is breathing. We must forget the Tiananmen Crackdown When is the last time that the U.S. government gunned down hundreds of unarmed protesters?
China is facing Japan-style stagnation. This could cause it to be in a middle income trap. The difference between China's collapse and Japan's is that Japan was a wealthy country when it collapsed, and China is not currently a wealthy country (per capita GDP at less than $13,000/yr). China's growth will not fall as low as Japan's did, but the end result will be worse, because the collapse happened much sooner in the growth cycle. India lodges strong protest with China over map claiming 'India's territory' Maybe China is pivoting away from stealing land from Taiwan towards stealing land from a country that cannot be easily protected by the U.S. Navy. New war games say that China gets defeated by the U.S. Air Force after the U.S. Navy in the Pacific is defeated. The reason that the Air Force would be successful against China is the JASSM missile.
